At the SGIUG2004 Conference in May, there will be elections for a Board of Directors, SIG Chairs and Deputy SIG Chairs. We will also be looking at other aspects of this new organization like policies and procedures.
You will want to be a part of it. You may even want to participate by playing a leadership role. The requirements are that your employer will support you in attending the Conference and one other Board meeting each year, and will allow you enough time to perform the required duties of the position you select to run for.
Nominate yourself by sending an email to info@sgiug.org and that will get the ball rolling.
